FRINGE WORLD is an open access festival, which means there’s no velvet rope deciding who gets to be on stage. Local legends, international extravaganzas, first-timers, old-timers and artists cooking up something we don’t have a category for yet. Come on in baby!

Same goes for audiences...

You can meticulously plan 12 shows in one weekend. You can choose something because the poster looks cooked. You can come for a comedian you know and leave obsessed with an acrobat you’d never heard of two hours earlier.

That’s Fringe. 

For a few glorious weeks, Perth gets louder, weirder and a lot more interesting. Big ideas find tiny stages. Strange things happen behind unassuming doors. Your group chat gets dangerously ambitious.

There’s no right way to Fringe. Just follow whatever makes you curious, you good thing!
