The Von Donk Family Old-Timey Vaudeville Revue
About this event
An award-nominated, irreverent satire of all the music, magic, and comedy of the 20th century.
After the untimely death of their parents in a freak tap-dancing accident, Lottie and Vaughn Von Donk reluctantly reunite to perform their family vaudeville troupe’s unwieldy, 124-year back catalogue. There will be dancing! Silent film! Rivalry! An accompanist!
Featuring 10 cracking original comedy songs.
Performed by Louisa Fitzhardinge (Comma Sutra), Andrew McClelland (A Seated Walking Tour of Western Europe), and Greg Lavell (Cabaret Unscripted).
"Incredibly surprising and well executed... A really light-hearted and joyous hour treat." ★★★★½ Hugging Comedians, 2024
“A meticulous show that’s both an ode to different vaudeville styles of the 20th century and a bloody good time." ★★★★ The Age, 2024
