About this event

Saskia and Georgina invite you to hang out in their hearts for a night of Songwriting with Good Lighting. They will take you on a journey (with snacks) through two moderately dysfunctional female lives. They tackle: growing up too fast, falling in and (sometimes rapidly) out of love, navigating the chaos that is the early years of adulthood, and writing songs about ALL of it.

This is a cosy little room of tea, blankets, live music, story-telling, and amateur live painting, which celebrates the creation of music and the magic of an unlikely friendship. Songs we'll play when everything goes wrong and a friendship that will outlast all of our romantic endeavours... probably.

Welcome to a night of Saskia and Georgina, spirit and generosity, Songwriting with Good Lighting

Presented by:
S.A.S and Ribs

S.A.S and Ribs are Saskia Fleming and Georgina Cramond, two emerging Perth songwriters who are known for their relatable lyrics and wit. Ribs recently performed her one woman musical Interrupting a Crisis at the Blue Room Theatre, a show about overcoming anxiety with a bit of help from songwriting. Saskia performs in small live music venues in the Perth music scene and her music has charted with Triple J Unearthed.
