Simone Craddock & Her Jazz Band Swing The Musicals!
About this event
Simone is a multi-award winning Jazz & Blues vocalist with a chequered past!
Moonlighting as an Actress on London's West End, Simone loved the sparkle of showbiz! But when the curtain came down she’d throw off her costumes and hightail it to Ronnie Scotts, jamming the night away with London’s finest! Simone felt torn between two worlds for although early Jazz repertoire is largely drawn from the old musicals, over time it has become taboo for these rivalling genres to mix...
Worlds collide in a firey showdown as Simone & Her Swinging Jazz Band re-write the rules! Improvising exciting versions of Musical Theatre classics from We Will Rock You, Sweeney Todd, Wicked, Moulin Rouge and more, Simone brings Jazz home to where it belongs and swings the musicals like you've never heard them before!
