This SHOW was designed to give a unique perspective into the life journey of a person who is NEURODIVERSE through performance art, burlesque, singing and poetry. It digs deeply into the experience by touching on the story of a parent of a neurodiverse child who is hearing the diagnoses for the very first time. It tells the tale of that same parent who must forget all they have already learnt about parenting only to learn what it is to be a special needs parent. The show also addresses the expectations of society and family in these circumstances.

The journey then progresses into the experience of a neurodiverse child at school and further into adulthood through the shutdowns, meltdowns and depression, to finally achieve acceptance of who they are despite their differences and the joy that it brings to truly know and love they self.  A truly raw, unearthing, inspirational story for all.

This dramatic, yet comedic and emotional at times,  piece has been created in a way that it could be any neurodiverse person in the world. It is genuinely told by neurodiverse performers through their personal interpretation of the script meaning that not every show will be identical. It is a working piece of art with moments of confusion, shock, sadness, depression, joy and acceptance and therefore is a whirlwind tour of the human condition that is neurodiversity.
