About this event

Colin Ebsworth was raised in a cult.

His father was matched in a mass wedding in Madison Square Garden, New York in the 80's by a South Korean man who said he was Jesus Christ.

Some stuff happened in between, and now he's one of Perth's most established comedians with awards, sellout runs, and a reputation for dynamic and entertaining performances. This is a story about his life, family and the cult that brought it all together.

"One of the best comics Perth has to offer" ★★★★ 1/2 Winning at Failing, 2019

"Brilliant" ★★★★ FringeFeed, 2018

"A true funny man" ★★★★ Fourth Wall Media, 2018

"Had the room in stitches" The Music, 2014

"Charismatic, lighthearted and funny" The West Australian, 2013

"A very talented writer and performer" Broadway World, 2018

Presented by:
Colin Ebsworth

With multiple awards, nominations, glowing reviews, sellout seasons, and a reputation as the most prolific comedy writer in the state Colin Ebsworth is a powerhouse within Perth comedy. He has over a decade of experience working on his craft whilst still in his 20's he has his sights firmly set on consistently new, bold and engaging entertainment. He splits his time between performing standup comedy and producing, writing, and hosting Australia's largest live-staged late-night talkshow Ebsworth Tonight.
