Less Light

What if the person you were talking to was you in another life? What if that person was God?

In perfect darkness, storytelling and live soundtrack transport audiences to times and places of great intervention. That twist in your gut, the relief from a hug. Recognisable feelings in unfamiliar territory. Imaginations run wild through the unknown, as we trip and stumble over things that feel oh so familiar.

After a sold out run of their coming of age comedy 'Pitched Black', Lazy Yarns returns to FRINGE WORLD with an immersive, theatrical experience. Ethereal and evocative, Less Light opens up the stories that define us and unite us.

Provoked by Andy Weir's short story 'The Egg' and featuring acclaimed WA musician Jacob Diamond.

Presented by: Summer Nights & Lazy Yarns

Lazy Yarns is a collaboration between Campbell Pollock, Isaac Diamond and Mitchell Whelan. Established first in 2015 as a short series of podcasts, Lazy Yarns now serves as a platform for uniquely Australian Stories. The company made their theatrical debut in 2017 with 'Pitched Black' which garnered critical acclaim and sold out audiences.

Lazy yarns aims to create multidisciplinary, light hearted, joyous work that transports audiences to a place both new and familiar.
