Scaled kabaret dietrich musical saw
Nikki Nouveau presents the fascinating life of Marlene Dietrich through song and story, reimagined through her famous character Lola Lola in the classic 1930s film 'The Blue Angel'. The show is set in Berlin during the Weimar era, exploring the alluring enigma of Dietrich and the trials of an ageing film star, from her early beginnings as a musician, an under-recognised performance career in cabaret and theatre, through to her emergence as a shining legend of the silver screen. Featuring physical theatre and a repertoire of cabaret classics, including 'Falling In Love Again' and 'La Vie En Rose' accompanied by piano and musical saw. A delicious affair delivered in German, French and English.
