Beginning his career in Perth in 1999 as a national finalist in the Raw Comedy competition, Gavin moved to Melbourne in 2000 and cut his comedy teeth performing at iconic comedy rooms including The Prince Patrick Hotel and The Espy alongside Australia's top comedians.
He has written, produced and performed in ten Melbourne International Comedy Festival seasons and in 2005 Gavin was a recipient of the Brian McCarthy Memorial Moosehead Award for his show As Seen on TV. As well as performing, he has managed professional comedy rooms in Melbourne and Hobart.
Gavin has appeared on Channel 10's 7PM Project and The Comedy Channel's Stand-Up Australia, and has performed around Australia and overseas. He can also be seen in comedy movie The Merger.
