About this event

Funy (adj.): When something is so funny, it transcends regular funny. Funy. It's like slang, from England.

Either way, Tor Snyder is here to make Funy happen. After 4 years, Tor Snyder is making her grand Fringe World return with Funy Girl, and she’s not holding back. While we've all been lost in memes about quiet luxury and collectively losing it over girl dinners, Tor’s been prepping a 50-minute explosion of comedy. Expect a mix of absurdity and sharp social commentary from bad tattoo ideas, getting your ADHD diagnosis and most importantly, how to buy a house, in this economy!?!? You can trust, Tor is here to prove that "funy" is more than just a typo—it’s a whole mood.

“A whole lot of sass and a whole lot of crass." ★★★★ Fourth Wall Media

Fringe World 2021 Weekly Award Winner

Presented by:
Tor Snyder

After 12 years of performing stand up, Tor Snyder has produced and written 4 solo Fringe World Shows, been a Fringe World weekly award winner and nominated for The West Australian Newspaper Award and opened and toured with some of the best comedians around the country, including the MICF Roadshow. She was also hand picked to host the 2021 Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s prestigious ‘Comedy Zone’ and is now included in a stellar list of alumni. During the exhausting and scarce comedy covid years, Tor started a new venture into the wonderful world of buying and selling second hand furniture. It quickly became the perfect side hustle. And in early 2023 she began studying upholstery and has since moved to Melbourne to study Furniture Design. Keep an eye on this Canadian, babe!
