Fridays at LoCale: Island Vibrations
Come dance to the catchy melodies and upbeat rhythms of the joyful Séga music. The Creole Collective will take you on a journey to the Indian Ocean islands and the making of a creole society through music, food, and art. The whole family is welcome to join us for this free event for an authentic taste of island life.
Fridays at LoCale is a series of free, family-friendly summer arts events presented by Midland Junction Arts Centre to showcase the talent of our local community arts groups. Fridays at LoCale is supported by City of Swan and the Morrina Community Program.

Midland Junction Arts Centre is a vibrant visual and performing arts facility situated in a historical building in the heart of Midland. A curated exhibition program is complemented by regular workshops for all ages, an artist in residence program, and a range of cultural events to stimulate increased imagination, creativity, skills and knowledge.
In 2020 Midland Junction Arts Centre's exhibition Yoowalkoorl - Come on, Come Here was a Weekly Winner for the FRINGE WORLD Visual Arts & Film Award.
