About this event

What did Australia’s foxiest morons get up to during the pandemic?

It’s August 2021. Kath is up to pussy’s bow in sour dough bread, Kim’s been asked to work from home (though that happened long before the pandemic) and Sharon has had a severe reaction to all the hand sanitiser.

Relive the uniquely Australian pandemic experience through the eyes of these uniquely Australian characters hilariously parodied by Art Simone (RuPaul’s Drag Race Downunder, Have You Been Paying Attention?), Thomas Jaspers (Granny Bingo, The Gays Are Revolting), Leasa Mann (Club Broadway) and Scott Brennan (skitHOUSE, Comedy Inc, Neighbours)

Direct from it’s sold out Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney Opera House seasons – with quick wit and camp tunes, this is a fabulous night out for everyone!

Presented by:
Thomas Jaspers

Thomas has been a staple on the Australian queer arts scene for 15 years.
He created the hit Melbourne comedy trio Granny Bingo and has been producing their monthly, sold out bingo show for over a decade now. He has produced shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for the last 13 years as well as shows at the Sydney Mardi Gras, Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Fringe and Adelaide Feast.
Notable productions include A Visit With Nan In A Caravan which won the 2017 MICF Golden Gibbo award before touring to Adelaide's Garden Of Unearthly Delights and returning to MICF in 2018 for a season on Arts Centre Melbourne's Forecourt and The Midsumma Extravaganza which started in ACM's Fairfax Studio before graduating to Hamer Hall for 3 years and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl for the past 2 years
