Jessie Camilleri-Seeber (Jess) and Jocelyn Eddie (Joss) are both graduates of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, having received their Bachelor of Arts (Dance) Honours Degree. Jess and Joss are founding members of Syndicate Performance, an arts collective composed of WAAPA dance graduates. They choreographed for the first time as a pair for Syndicate Performance’s FRINGE WORLD show The Kitchen Sync, creating a dance theatre duet on Kimberley Parkin and Ana Musić. Jess and Joss recently presented their second development of their work fish feet in Winter Shorts as a part of the GROUND UP program after being selected from STRUT’s 2019 Short Cuts program. This was presented at The Blue Room Theatre’s Main Space during the Winter Nights Festival.
About this event
Recounting the most formative, influential experiences in their childhoods, these memories are laced with guilt, confusion, curiosity and relief; experiences that mold the individuals into their adult selves. With four stories told four different ways, fish feet is a physical manifestation of the world the storyteller remembers.
Prepare to giggle, snot, chant and chuck a tanty; Jess and Joss whip up an evening of dance theatre sure to take you right back to your playground days.
