Diary of A Racially Confused Girl

After a sold-out debut season in 2019, Nicholette C is back to take you on her hilarious journey of self-discovery as an Asian growing up in Australia, grappling with the clash of 2 (or more) cultures.

A night of education and expose and the first of its kind to hit FRINGE WORLD, X-Press Magazine declared it "not recommended for the racially sensitive". You can expect the soundtrack of her ridiculous real-life events brought to life by the fusion of traditional Chinese instruments and contemporary rhythm section.

If you're into spring rolls, karaoke, and socially inappropriate discussions, you don't want to miss this!

"Wow... this show is something else for sure." ★★★★½ Fringefeed, 2019
"Fits of laughter" X-Press Magazine, 2019

Presented by: Nicholette C

Nicholette C is an exciting, bicultural blend of soul and sass. A seasoned performer in the live music scene, she charms audiences in Perth with her electrifying aura. Her racially confused stories are genuinely ridiculous, and she delivers them with ease, you know, because English is actually her first language. Lighting up the stage with her commanding presence and fire vocals, backed up by a fusion of contemporary and traditional Chinese instruments, you can expect a performance you won't forget! "Great voice, musical chops, and natural comedic timing." X-Press Magazine, 2019. "This girl means business." Fringefeed, 2019.
