About this event

Following a successful sold-out season in Hamilton Hill, Phoenix Theatre is proud to present 'Be More Chill' the new musical at FRINGE WORLD. Jeremy Heere is just an average teenager. That is until he finds out about 'The Squip' - a tiny supercomputer that promises to bring him everything he desires most. But is being the most popular guy in school worth the risk?

Music and Lyrics by Joe Iconis Book by Joe Tracz Based on the novel by Ned Vizzini, Exclusively Licensed by Origin Theatrical Pty Ltd

"With its easily relatable characters, clever twists and ebullient songs, it engages you from beginning to end. An effervescent, feel-good musical." NJAsrts, 2018.

Presented by:
Phoenix Theatre

Established in 2005, Phoenix Theatre Inc operates out of Hamilton Hill's Memorial Hall.

Presently the theatre provides the classic entertainment of theatrical plays, productions, musicals and pantomimes, while striving to expand its genre and range with new exciting live performances that appeal to a young, fresh demographic.

As a well established and growing theatre, the members are increasing in numbers, from beginners to experienced. Phoenix encourages all aspiring and accomplished actors and actresses to experience the theatre and ultimately have fun through the Arts!

Our group puts on approximately four productions a year, and were the first theatre group in the City of Cockburn.

New members, both on-stage and back-stage are always welcome.
