About this event

Alissia Marsh is a comedian, lesbian, intersex advocate and the only person still playing PokemonGo. She is fast rising up the WA comedy ranks with her impressive skill, affable bite and excitable wit. She is a champion for body positivity and has some rather remarkable body quirks.

Marsh has performed across Australia, including recently at the State Theatre Centre of WA, and has become a regular host and headline act at popular WA venues including The Laugh Resort, Fremantle Comedy Factory and Lazy Susan's Comedy Den.

Dubbed "King of the Lesbians" and back by popular demand, she quite literally was born to stand out and stand up.

"One of her strengths is that she actively interacts with the audience... honest and outspoken" ★★★★ OUTinPerth, 2020
"Cheeky fun" Pelican Magazine, 2020

Presented by:
Alissia Marsh

One of the nation's fastest rising stars, Marsh's rapid five year trajectory has already included touring the state and country - from competing in the WA state final of Raw Comedy 2017 (when she was just a year out of high school), to opening the 2020 Stand Up! for Comedy Gala at the Heath Ledger Theatre. 2021 welcomes the encore season of King Of The Lesbians following the show's sell out 2020 FRINGE WORLD run.

"For such a young performer, she was engaging, humorous and with a body positive message that endeared her to the audience" Gutter Culture, 2019
"Funny, Engaging and Unique" Comedian Cal Wilson

See this megastar in the making while you can.

  • "As with all the best comedy, there is a touch of seriousness, and Alissia is a strong advocate for acceptance of intersex people." – Out In Perth
