Join host Rosie Rai for a night of free-wheeling musical mayhem, maybe you'd like to listen, or maybe you're feeling a little more... vocal? At 1800-REQUEST we can satisfy your every need, be it for any of the hundreds of pop, musical, RnB or jazz songs in Rosie's repertoire, or for the millionth rendition of Piano Man (although Rosie identifies as a Piano Babe). Rosie Rai (She/Her) is a Pianist and Singer/Songwriter based in Naarm (Melbourne) Australia. A vivacious and charming host, Rosie Rai has been lighting up venues on Australia's east coast since relocating from Perth, WA in 2018. In 2022 she has performed at the Sydney Opera house and the Melbourne Recital centre, and hosts the weekly piano bar at Smith Street's iconic queer venue Lantern Lounge. Her original music is an extension of a life lived with a heart on her sleeve, weaving deeply personal lyrics with textural and rhythmic production that sits somewhere in between the alt folk of the 2010’s and glam pop of the 80’s.
