About this event

As seen and heard on Network 10’s The Project and Studio 10, ABC’s Comedy Bites, triple j’s Good Az Friday, SBS’ RAW Comedy, and more!

There’s a reason Michael Shafar is one of the most exciting comedians in Australia right now and has sold out his shows around the country, including at Fringe World, for years.

The cancer survivor is back in Perth with his critically-acclaimed show that will solve all of the world's most pressing problems. How do we stop COVID? How do we stop climate change? How do we fold a fitted sheet? Shafar promises to provide pragmatic solutions to all of these problems.

He's back in Perth to give it 110%.

"Shafar circumnavigates the line between edgy and offensive with beautiful finesse" ★★★★½ The Age (2021)

Presented by:
Michael Shafar

Since leaving a career in law for comedy, Michael has been working hard to win his mother's forgiveness and has (somewhat) achieved that by having performed around Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the US, and on international waters.

In 2016, Michael featured on SBS's RAW Comedy, represented Australia in the Laugh Factory's Funniest Person in the World Competition, and toured across Asia, headlining at some of the continent's largest comedy clubs.

He has since gone on to appear on Channel 10's The Project, ABC's Comedy Bites, and triple j's Good Az Friday, and toured four shows around the country.

Looking to make a night of it? If you also buy a ticket to see my very funny friend Aidan Jones, you'll automatically get 20% off BOTH of our shows. That's twice the laughs for one-fifth of the price. Not bad, hey?
