"Well Worth the Chemo" - Michael Shafar

As seen on The Project, Amazon Prime and his 60+ million views online!

Your favourite Jewish, cancer-surviving, lawyer-turned-comedian, Michael Shafar, is back at FRINGE WORLD with a BRAND NEW show!

In his funniest (and edgiest) show yet, Shafar explains how to reverse the brutal history of colonisation, why women should drunk-drive, which religion is correct and the importance of chemo patients being allowed to smoke. Fun for the whole family!

Shafar receives critical acclaim everywhere he performs, but his favourite ever review was from his oncologist who simply said: "Great show, Michael. You were well worth the chemo."

If that's not enough, this review sums up Michael's comedy perfectly:

"Shafar circumnavigates the line between edgy and offensive with beautiful finesse"  ★★★★½ The Age

Presented by: Michael Shafar

Since leaving a career in law for comedy, Michael has been working hard to win his Jewish mother's forgiveness, and has (somewhat) achieved that, having performed around Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the US and on international waters.

He has appeared appear on Network 10's The Project and Studio 10, ABC's Comedy Bites, triple j's Good Az Friday, and toured four shows around the country, regularly selling out at Australia's major festivals, including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

He's also had 60+ millions views online and his debut special A(LIVE) is now available on Amazon Prime.
