The Real Housewives of Northbridge 6003

The year is 6003 and rioting queers The Real Housewives of Northbridge have survived the apocalypse, like cockroaches with lipstick. Unbeknownst to the trashiest drag queens of an empty planet, they are not alone. One sole archetype has lived through the devastation and has come knocking on their doorframe, identified only as 'the cis white man'.

3985 years before that, in 2018, local attention seekers Ash Traylia, Rita Hoedown, Amelia Canta-Ford and Queerpatra formed an absurdist trash drag troupe and took the Perth performance art scene by metaphorical storm. Their unique brand of multimedia storytelling has been described as "radically unsophisticated" and "viciously intelligent" for its exploration of the blurry limitations and freedoms of gender and sexuality.

Presented by: The Real Housewives of Northbridge

The Real Housewives of Northbridge, composed of four independent performance artists - Ash Traylia, Rita Hoedown, Amelia Canta-Ford & Queerpatra formed as a response to the drag scene in Perth. Looking to exchange the polish for grime, these four queens have become mainstays of the Northbridge nightlife, presenting their radical work as part of "Leg Day" at The Bird and "Homopolitan" at Connections Nightclub. Once they got invitations to the State Theatre and went as the deranged sex slaves of cultural overlord Rio Tinto. Causing controversy and raising eyebrows everywhere they strut, The Real Housewives of Northbridge stand for an uncompromising future where freedom of expression is offered to those who have been silenced by the status quo.
