In 1962 the world was blessed with the chart-topping, collaborative jazz sensation of Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley. With Wilson's elusively elegant vocals combined with the state-of-the-art hard bop horn style of Adderley, these virtuosos made jazz history, accessible to all lovers of music.

Making a FRINGE WORLD Festival debut, this performance has previously sold out shows at The Ellington Jazz Club, with standing ovations. Allow upcoming jazz vocalist/band leader Francesca Quinlivan (Frankie) to take you on a journey through time, exploring some of the most beautiful music numbers ever written, whilst providing a history of jazz, and its impact on music and society today (interspersed with much hilarity).

Francesca Quinlivan (Frankie), at 22 years of age is an up and coming jazz vocalist from Perth, and has eagerly studied at The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. She is heavily influenced by stunning vocalists, including: Anita O'Day, Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan, Karen Carpenter and Amy Winehouse.

Frankie has performed for many years in venues across WA with well-known local Perth artists, such as: Dr. Nick Abbey, Chris Foster, Kate Pass, Sarah Ramsey etc. and has acquired an exceptional array of experience and talent.

Using her illustrious tone, sultry alto vocals, and bubbly personality, Frankie will serenade you into the night with her timeless and sophisticated technique.
