The Double Bass

Musical skill, maddening solitude & melancholic storytelling in this critically-acclaimed rendition of Suskind's (Perfume) solo show.

Performed by Eddie Morrison
Directed by Lisa Harper Campbell

The Double Bass, a tragicomedy, introduces audiences to a nameless musician playing in the German National Orchestra. He meticulously describes life as a classical double bassist, his potential romance and his reverence and rage towards the eponymous instrument.

Following a highly successful debut season in Adelaide, Cranking Hog Productions is coming to rock Perth's world.

"A triumph in pace & orchestration." Adelaide Show Podcast
"An enjoyable & engaging production of a clever, funny play." Adelaide Theatre Guide
"Special enough to put at the top of your to-see list." Stage Whispers

Presented by: Cranking Hog Productions
