SOLEADO Flamenco
La Pandilla Flamenca will return to perform SOLEADO Flamenco following sold-out shows at The Ellington in 2023. SOLEADO Flamenco won a weekly award at FRINGE WORLD in 2023 and is a powerful blend of Spanish music and dance. Flamenco dancers Naoko Christofis and Farida Rabih (Casa del Compas) will again be accompanied by La Pandilla musicians Jatin Kala (Guitar), Will Ditcham (Guitar), and Moira Desport (Cajon) and special guest violinist Zola Li to create an intimate and rhythmic performance.

La Pandilla Flamenca is a Perth-based Flamenco Group featuring Naoko Christofis (dancer), Jatin Kala & Will Ditcham (guitarists) and Moira Desport (percussionist). La Pandilla Flamenca -literally The Flamenco Gang – formed in 2018 and have performed locally at The Ellington, the WA Guitar Festival and were weekly award winners in 2021 and 2022 for their first Fringe show “¡el FLAMENCO!”. Together with regular guest dancer Farida Rabih from Casa del Compas and violinist Zola Li, a multi-instrumentalist originally from Taiwan, their new show SOLEADO Flamenco was also a weekly award winner when it premiered at FRINGE WORLD in 2023.
