Ron vs The Queen
This is a story about a poof, his dad, his friend Ron, and a gold sequinned dress - not all at once and not in that order.
This is a man on the margins, playing dress ups and being life’s punchline.
Things don’t go quite as expected. Someone gets the trots and all bets are off.

Gary Steadman has been performing and storytelling for many years. His mother would probably say too many years.
Trained at The John Bolton Theatre School and with the French professor Philippe Gaulier, Gary has been the back end of a horse, a tree, Little John and Lear’s Fool (for twenty minutes). He broke his nose on the opening night of a show that was never staged by La Mama Theatre in Melbourne - a career highlight.
Since 2015 Gary has been a regular story teller at Barefaced Stories.
This is his first foray back onto the stage in a while. Thirty years to be precise. He has almost forgotten about the broken nose.
