"I've always felt privileged to have been raised a musician in Chicago." Earliest influence? Count Basie. "His simple, swinging jazz feel appealed to me as a child." The Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Chicago - "The home of the blues", the singular Chicago Jazz scene along with folk, roots rock and life in the late 60's and early 70's gave Tim a wondrous emersion in musical influence, allowing him to create a “Language through the piano”, speaking all sounds of music.
Professional career now spanning 45 years has taken Tim around the world as a performer. Highlights include many classical piano recitals and solo jazz piano performances, Ravinia Festival, Master Classes with Paul Skoda, Menahem Pressler and Misha Dichter and Orchestra Hall Chicago
