21 January – 15 February

This show belongs to the Fringe2021 season. This season is now over.

Revenge of the Myth

Revenge of the Myth is an adaptation of your favourite Scottish Play by the Bard himself, exploring the theme of Power versus the Sense of Self. The characters you know and love develop animalistic traits as the manipulation of power attracts the loss of their humanity. Being stuck in a house during the COVID-19 lockdown together only encourages tension between the characters, returning them to traditional primitive ways of survival.

Starting as a group assignment in a Collaborative Theatre class, this piece is making its debut at the FRINGE WORLD Festival with high hopes to please Shakespeare fans and entertain people of the modern age. Join us as your favourite characters are manipulated and positions of power are challenged, with only the consequence of their actions to follow.
