PRAAZ : "Harmony in Diversity" with Indian Raaga-Jazz roots
"PRAAZ : Harmony in Diversity" is a collective of various established musicians that have come together to play a unique blend of cross-cultural music.
The music is conceptualised and written by Praaz (Praashekh Borkar) who is predominantly an Indian Classical Sarod player and features the Sarod and the Esarod (an instrument he invented) as the main lead instruments creating a strong connection to Indian Raagas.
In the musical journey, listeners will get to experience multi-cultural sounds and instruments such as the Sarod, Esarod, Tabla, Didgeridoo, Keyboards, Drums, Daf, Darbouka, Thammattam (SriLankan folk drum), moorsing (jaw harp), and more all coming together in Harmony.
