Avra Banerjee is a seasoned sarod player and composer with 15+ years of Indian classical training. Specializing in World music, he has collaborated with artists across the USA, Europe, India, and Australia. With over 35 singles released, his work has earned recognition from the InterContinental Music Awards, Global Music Awards, Josie Music Awards, GIMA, and more across World, Fusion, and Instrumental categories. Avra is also the founder of two World music ensemble SwaraSynthesis based at Perth, Australia.
Avra is also a voting member of The Recording Academy (Grammy Award)
