Fringe2024

Married At First Fight

You are cordially invited to a comedy show! Comedians and married couple Katharyn Henson (USA) and Mark O'Keeffe (IRE) met at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019, had a lockdown wedding in Melbourne, Australia in 2020 and have come to FRINGE WORLD to share wedding and marriage horror stories, receive marriage advice and each perform a comedy set where you will decide at the end of the show who is the funniest of the night!

Presented by: Katharyn Henson

Katharyn began doing stand up comedy in New York City and has completed multiple runs in Edinburgh of her sellout show "Ew Girl, You Nasty" and all-female comp show "Filthy Funny Females," (both on at FRINGE WORLD this year!) Her project outside of stand up is paying off an antique ring she bought on credit. Mark O'Keeffe is an Irish comedian who started out doing comedy in Vancouver, Canada in 2014 and has travelled the world doing stand up from South East Asia to NYC. The duo met at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019 and flew to Australia in March 2020 to participate in the Melbourne Comedy Festival. They ended up stuck in Oz for six months and got married while in lockdown in the backyard of the people they were renting a room from. They gave birth to a podcast called This American Irish Life.
