Born a few violins short of a string section and kicked out of the family band, Connie turned to the holy book of song lyrics and became a believer in the one ceremony that truly connects us – karaoke.
Some call her an icon, some call her the next Jesus [with extra rhinestones] but she’s just a simple rodeo girl with a love of karaoke, consent and a quarter chicken and chips.
After knock out shows around Perth, Connie and her brand of spiritual karaoke to the festival for two nights only so hop to it.
All audience participation is undertaken with enthusiastic consent.

Mummy's Plastic is the independent project of creative/producer Rose Kingdom-Barron. Since 2012, Rose has produced comedy for the award-winning Gelo (Famous Sharron, Class Clowns). In 2017, she was nominated as WAM Industry Representative of the Year for her work with The Bird and Safer Venues WA.
Her character Consensual Connie lit up the scene from 2018 – hosting at PICA, FRINGE WORLD, Fremantle Festival, RTRFM, Connection’s, Comedy Lounge, and melting hearts one song request at a time.
