IKEA WARS
It's time to enter the flatpack thunderdome! IKEA Wars is a high-octane comedy game show pitting two Fringe performers against each other in the ultimate home improvement indignity: building IKEA furniture in front of a live audience.
The challenge is simple: build the piece of furniture before your opponent does. Is it a race? Yes! Is it a game show? ALSO YES! A plethora of chaotic sabotages are on hand to ensure that the road to glory is paved with pitfalls!
Build the furniture. Survive the sabotages. Be crowned the Champion of Sweden!*
*title not officially recognised by the Swedish government.
Let's build!
"Who knew you could get so engrossed, anxious, agitated, in watching IKEA furniture being built!" Fringefeed, 2025
Presented by: Social Club Productions
Social Club Productions is a comedy theatre company from Melbourne, created by Kieran Bullock for the purpose for creating high quality, high energy theatre productions. Their first show was the West End smash The 39 Steps, which was performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2016. Their first original play was The Ides of March, which enjoyed sell-out seasons at the 2019, 2020, and 2021 Adelaide Fringe festivals.
IKEA WARS is Kieran's gloriously insane solo venture.
Comedy and entertainment are at the heart of all Social Club productions - somewhat old school, but as relevant as ever.
