20 January – 14 February

This show belongs to the FRINGE WORLD Festival 2026 season. This season is now over.

A performer poses in a dramatic hot-pink ruffled outfit, head tilted back with bold, colourful makeup and bright red earrings, creating a striking, high-fashion look.
A performer in a fitted blue top and black gloves sings into a microphone, eyes closed, with dramatic pink and purple lighting casting a bold shadow behind them.
A performer in an oversized padded jacket and dark goggles reaches upward under vivid pink and blue stage lighting, creating a surreal, futuristic look.

Geraldine Quinn - Bastard Joy

Geraldine Quinn ('Spicks and Specks', ‘The Project') returns to Perth with a thrilling electroclash meld of music doco and club night that skewers the vanity project. With over 40 career award-nominations, think what she can do now she's medicated.

A sleeper Melbourne Comedy Festival hit, 'Bastard Joy' is a high-octane original synth-dipped hyperpop cabaret described as "chaotic", "a masterclass in high art ridiculousness" and "a really funny, weird slapper of a show".

Part revisionist history, part gig, part the banginest club you've ever blagged your way into - all glorious Bastard Joy.

“A wild ride for these darkest times led by a performer at the top of her game" - Time Out Melbourne
"More hooks than a fishing tackle shop" - Chortle (UK)
"Hilarious buffoonery" - The Saturday Paper
