In '91 The Laugh Resort became Australia’s only known Incorporated Association of & for comedians. For 25 years, it presented a weekly club show in Northbridge, programmed festival stages, main stage theatre and charity galas, relaunching in 2018 with a show upstairs in Yagan Square the 3rd Wed of each month. As a not-for-profit, the Association relies on the support of its members and audiences, and distributes all earnings back to the creatives you see on stage and behind it. After a short break in 2025, the Club's amped to be back in full force, providing advocacy, advice and other benefits to comedy industry members, and fostering the best in Perth comedy by providing development & performance opportunities for emerging and established artists, and top value entertainment for audiencesSuitability & warnings
