Françoise and Friends debut performance will draw you into the vibrant world
of yé-yé music and culture. For two nights only these funky beats, catchy
tunes and swinging rhythms will transport you to 1960s France.
Jazz vocalist and local talent Sylvia Cornes is accompanied by a stellar line-up including Thomas Freeman (guitar), Bronton Ainsworth (drums), Wayan Biliondana (Bass) and a surprise guest performer.
Featuring some of Hardy’s greatest yé-yé hits, as well as songs by Serge Gainsbourg, France Gall, Brigitte Bardot and others. This fun filled musical performance will have you twistin' and shoutin' like it's 1969!

Perth-based actress, singer and writer Sylvia Cornes has experience performing locally and nationally. In 2019 Sylvia appeared in Ladies in Black and Fringe World 2019 winner for best children’s show ‘Maisie’. Sylvia performs regularly in her musical duo ‘Sylvia Cornes Duo’ and will undertake new artistic endeavours in the UK in 2020.
