21 January – 15 February

This show belongs to the Fringe2019 season. This season is now over.

Eggs.

Three theatrical gods (Brecht, Shakespeare, and Sophocles) walk into a bar, (much to the dismay of a theatre-hating villain) to discuss the latest book on the subject of theatre. What possessed the author to write on such big subject? Come find out as she recounts her theatrical journey of discovery with the help of a friend, a student, a very persistent singer, and a happy band of idiots (otherwise known as a chorus). Gods, villains, eggs, everything in-between; the world of theatre is a vast and dangerous place, nearly impossible to explore in its entirety. Even so, you're in for a night full of laughter, tears, and lots of egg puns, when you join our author on her journey to discover what it means to be a "serious actor". (Spoiler-Alert: there's no such thing).
