dawning

To begin again. A connected self intertwined with nature's cycles. The quiet, warm crimson breaking through as the sun waited for the day to dawn. A contemporary dance piece accompanied by musician and composer James MacCallum.

Graduates of LINK Dance Company (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, 2018), Hannah and Briannah are emerging independent dance professionals based in Perth. The pair co-founded dance-theatre collective SYNDICATE Performance (2017), who have since performed award-nominated FRINGE WORLD seasons (2017-2020), and received the MANPAC Moorings Residency (2019).

They have performed within Perth Festival (COLOSSUS), The Blue Room Theatre's Summer Nights (2020), Co3 WA Makers Season (2018) & STRUT Dance opportunities such as Short Cuts. Recently, they have worked with choreographers such as Stephanie Lake, Richard Cilli and Emma Fishwick.
