Soothplayers are a Melbourne based troupe of thespians who specialise in improvising hilarious stories. Since forming in 2015 they have performed their shows, Completely Improvised Shakespeare and Completely Improvised Potter in numerous festivals including, the Melbourne Fringe, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Shakespeare on the River Festival. In this time they have received rave reviews and a loyal audience base.
The troupe features members of Melbourne's premier improvisation companies, the Big Hoo-haa, Impromptunes, Impro Melbourne and the Improv Conspiracy, as well as alumni of Chicago's iO Theatre.
