Class Clowns Crash Course (Workshop)
High school age teens (Years 7 to 12) planning to enter Class Clowns - Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s 'Raw Comedy' for under 18s - or with a general interest in performing comedy, are invited to two creative workshops these holidays with Perth's Canadian star of MICF's 2020 Comedy Zone Tor Snyder.
This intro to comedy will build self-esteem, confidence, and hone comedic talent. Attend one session or both - only 25 places available each week!
Past Class Clowns participants include Rhys Nicholson, Annie Louey, Aaron Chen & WA's Joel Creasey.

Australia's longest running comedy club, The Laugh Resort (est 1991), has partnered with Australia's world-renowned Melbourne International Comedy Festival to deliver a Crash Course and the Perth heat of Class Clowns 2022.
Class Clowns plays a valuable role in supporting the confidence and creativity of young Australians – providing a channel for self-expression, a platform for amplifying the voices and perspectives of young people and a pathway for emerging Australian talent.
Likewise, not-for-profit association for WA comedy, Laugh Resort Inc. - the birthplace of some of comedy's most well known Australian names - has supported comedians nurturing and mentoring comedians for just over 30 years and is proud to be working with MICF to foster the next generation.
