Chakchhu

Cakchhhu follows the story of Sujata, a young girl from an aristocratic Rana family. Educated in the U. S. Sujata is an open minded girl with sharp critical thinking skills. She finds herself at odds with her overprotective divorcee mother. Once she is arrested by the police and tortured badly thrown Sujata at the street and rescued by the monks. Then she choose the monastery instead going back home. With the help of senior-most nun Sulakshana (matron), she learns the basics of Buddhist rituals, practices and insights. Even at the monastery, she finds discriminations then she raises critical questions for the justice and equality. She then finds an extra Eyes inner self of her that became Chakchhu. Eventually, she is appointed the first ever nun to lead the monastery as the new Rinpoche.
