Bygone Days: The Music of Studio Ghibli Reimagined

Studio Ghibli has become renowned around the world as the home of some of the most revered and beloved animated works to hit the big screens, with more than 20 films over its near three decade history. This is surely in no small part due to its music; the music of Joe Hisaishi (and others) has sweeping themes, and subtle melodies that create a nostalgic aesthetic.

For this show, we will be playing and reimagining all of the favourites, from Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and others, as well as introducing you to a couple of hidden gems from across the Ghibli catalogue.
