This show belongs to the Fringe2023 season. This season is now over.

Avenue: A Tribute to The Seekers

Presented by "Avenue" - Joyce Mathers, Kim Anning, Matthew Bateman-Graham, Wayne Tallowin

'I'll never find another You', 'A World of Our Own', 'Georgy Girl', 'The Carnival is Over' and more.

The Seekers formed in 1962 in Melbourne. They wowed their audiences with a mix of folk and pop with a sound that had never been heard before. They had found a secret musical ingredient that worked, and went on to find amazing success, not just in Australia, but in the UK and America too, selling 50 million records throughout the world.

In 1967 the band disbanded, but not before leaving a legacy of music that was to stay in people's hearts forever.

In their ultimate performance their final song was 'The Carnival is Over'. The show could not be complete without featuring this beautiful song.
