Born and raised in a conservative family in Pakistan, Amna Bee started her comedy journey in a small outback town because why be conventional when you can be weird?
Since then she has performed all over the country and internationally in major festivals. Her solo show Don’t Tell My Family debuted at 2021 Melbourne International Comedy Festival to a sold-out run and high acclaim. The same show received high praise and sold-out shows at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and 2022 Adelaide Fringe Festival. She has been featured on SBS and ABC among other media outlets.
Amna also produces and hosts the routinely sold-out Raise the Bar Comedy, a highly-regarded monthly comedy night for women and non- binary performers in Melbourne.
