A Road to Somewhere - The Music of Studio Ghibli Reimagined

Step into the enchanted world of Studio Ghibli, with a musical reimagining of the movies of the acclaimed animation studio in an intimate jazz club setting. This show takes the music of the incredible Joe Hisaishi and transforms and reimagines it on the stage right in front of you; all of your favourite themes from movies like Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Porco Rosso, as well as a couple of hidden gems from across the studio’s 40-year catalogue.

Chris Musitano is a musician, composer, and arranger based in Perth. Currently the musical director of the Two Cent Professionals (winners of the 2022 FRINGE WORLD Overall Variety Line-up award), he has produced a number of sold out shows across a number of venues, as well as working with numerous other projects both as part of FRINGE WORLD, and as a freelance performer.
