If you think you know what a covers band looks like, think again. Two Cent Professionals supercharges pop, rock and funk favourites with a punchy 5-piece horn section and the kind of grin-inducing stage energy that brings Saturday night party vibes no matter the day or hour.

The show absolutely hit its stride when the band launched into Fat Bottomed Girls. Absolutely amazing. The vocals landed with real confidence and swagger, and suddenly everything lifted, the band, the room, the vibe. Then, without missing a beat, they rolled straight into Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy and the whole group got visibly more animated, like someone had flicked the party switch. Horns up, bodies moving, audience fully engaged.

What I love most about Two Cent Professionals is their unpolished perfection. It’s not slick in a sterile way; it’s alive. There’s this fun, slightly chaotic joy to the trumpeters and saxophonists figuring out the dance moves as they go, and honestly, it makes it better. It feels like you’re watching a bunch of seriously talented musicians having a genuinely great time together, and letting the audience in on it.

And for all the big sound and big personalities, there’s a quiet humility running through the performance too. The lead performers repeatedly make space for the back row, crouching down, shifting focus, and sharing the spotlight to make sure every player gets their moment. It’s generous, and it makes the whole band feel like a team rather than a few stars with backup.

All Horn-ed Up! is exactly what it promises: familiar hits, turned up loud, brass-blasted and delivered with a playful, feel-good buzz. If you want a show that’s equal parts musicianship and mayhem (the best kind), don’t overthink it, go get all horn-ed up.
