Etta D’elia and her incredible band bring NonnaMia to the State Theatre of WA for FRINGE WORLD Perth 2026!

A love letter to the Nonnas of the past, present, and future, this incredible production blended musical talent, personal stories, and comedic timing to display how music can be used to show love and compassion for the matriarchs of our society.

Etta D’elia’s range of vocal talent is something to definitely write about, as her ability to host the event and also hit incredible high notes within the space of a couple of minutes is an incredible feat, enhanced by her amazing voice.

Accompanying Etta D’elia on stage for the backing vocals were the jaw-dropping mother/daughter duo Alessandra Foresti and Asia Bisi – both amazing performers who added incredible harmony to both the band and Etta D’elia.

The remarkable band accompanying Ette D’elia for the evening were none other than Paul Milard on Flute/Sax/Clarinet, Tony Celiberti on Keys and Music Arrangements, Manoli Voyuoucalos on Double Bass, and Francisco Munoz on Drums – plus the amazing Mr Accordion Man on the Accordion.

The band set the pace for the evening perfectly and helped the audience get into the groove for the night with such incredible talent and precision.
The night was further enhanced by the comedic style of James Liotta, also known as Nonna Maria Pappagallo, who left the audience in stitches.

And this review would not be complete without mentioning the amazing Cannoli’s prepared by La Mortazza Café Deli – all three flavours were incredibly delicious, and I cannot recommend them enough!

NonnaMia is an amazing production and an incredible night out. Put Etta D’elia and her incredible jazz band in your must-watch list!
