This production journeys through eight feminine archetypes, honouring the full, unbridled expression of womanhood. Each scene reveals a different face of women’s identities, offered without restraint or apology. Commencing with the raw and unreserved Wild Woman, the show opens with the full cast on stage, immediately setting the tone for a commanding and memorable performance. 

The work articulates and tributes the stages of lived experience, from Lover to Mother to Priestess and finally Queen, with each life stage represented through poetry written by the performers. The narrative is confidently executed, at times broadcast in darkness between scenes. The poetry, particularly Envy, delivers a message that is both formidable and relatable to many women. Throughout the performance, multiple themes emerge, inviting individual interpretation.

Blending contemporary dance, burlesque, elements of fire performance, and breathtaking aerial silks, the production celebrates sexual expression. Elegant, feminine costuming emphasises the sensuality of the performers and underscores the central theme: the power of women. The result is a forceful, expressive, and explorative work.

The scenic projection is integrated into the set design, marking a shift in theme. The music combines familiar original songs with experimental soundscapes, amplifying the performers’ high energy. A busy crew facilitates swift set changes, while the lighting design enhances and sculpts the movement on stage.

Throughout the musical cabaret, the audience remains engaged, excited, and enthusiastic. The message of supporting sisterhood is both relatable and inclusive.
