$30 Pro Comics Only boasts a lineup of seasoned comedians and non-stop laughs. To be honest, I left this show feeling a little disappointed. The warm-up act had high energy, but it felt a bit frantic at times. Sadly, most of his musings failed to land.

As the show progressed, I found myself waiting for things to lift. While there were a handful of laughs scattered throughout the evening, they were few and far between, which was disappointing given I’d gone in expecting a strong night of comedy from seasoned performers.

The clear highlight was a fellow Londoner, a female comedian named Michelle. Her set brought structure, timing, and genuinely funny moments to the stage. She connected with the audience effortlessly about her bloke, and reminded me what good stand-up is supposed to feel like.

While there were moments that raised a smile, overall, the show fell short of expectations. With a different lineup of comedians each night, however, other audiences may well have a stronger experience.
