Mark O’Keefe put on a great show, showing true Irish hospitality as he started a little late while waiting to make sure everyone had a drink. Is it really Irish if alcohol isn't involved?
Mark did a great opening segment, as he jumped right into what it meant to be Irish - enforcing that even if you've never been to Ireland but your family comes from there, you're still Irish. And being Irish is something to be proud of.
The guest comedian was funny and charismatic, and the crowd was with him at first. A few inappropriate jokes, however, killed the mood for a bit. Thankfully, he pulled it together and ended his set on a better note.
With Mark returning to the spotlight, the atmosphere lightened once more. He told stories of his experiences living in Perth and in England, looking for work and the different jobs he had.
There was a risque section of his act - so I don't recommend seeing this show with your parents. However, if you're looking for a fun night out, a good laugh, and want a taste of Ireland, then I recommend going to see Full Blown Irish.
