Strap in for an hour of late-night chaos and debaucherous, unapologetic fun. Hosted by the ever-brilliant Reuben Kaye, holding our hand as we tumble down the rabbit hole together into a world of cabaret, comedy, burlesque and joy. Kaye gives a masterclass in how to lead (and tease) an audience and is simply captivating to watch. When you’re good to Reuben, Reuben is good to you - but you’re never quite safe from his sharp wit and mischievous charm. The energy in the room is electric, the vibe is gloriously unhinged, and the crowd is completely along for the ride.
The individual performers were all fantastic in their own right. Witty Aves Robins, burlesque master Matthew Pope, Trigger Happy (aka Shrek), sword-swallowing Kamilaroi Cowboy Dale Woodbridge-Brown and the mesmerising Ruby on pole. This belter of a variety line-up was the perfect mix of daring and dazzling that had the audience begging for more. Every act brings something different, keeping the night unpredictable, outrageous, and endlessly entertaining.
This feels like more than entertainment, it’s a celebration of creativity, queerness, and fearless performance. The Kaye Hole is messy in the best way, dazzlingly alive, and exactly the kind of unforgettable Fringe experience people come looking for.
Welcome to The Kaye Hole, you won’t ever want to leave.
