Ciao Bella,
Thank you so much for my songs. Louis Rebeiro and Adam Hall performed a lovely mix of crowd pleasers in both Italian and English, with some Latin thrown in for good measure. And, I learned the backstory of a few songs and their creators, too. It certainly made me feel like I was back in old Napoli.
Louis, a nice Italian man who grew up in Freo and Adam, who hails from North Queensland, are so charismatic, engaging, and funny. Not to mention incredibly talented musicians. I swear, I almost got burned from Louis’ blistering performance on that keyboard!
It was an extremely fun night out, with lots of audience participation. Louis and Adam have a knack for creating an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable singing along. And sing we did.
This show is simple yet enjoyable. Just like Pasta e Fasule.
So buon appetito!
Amore,
Nonna
